Timaru Fishing School is an innovative private training provider which is ideally situated in the heart of PrimePort Timaru, just meters away from seafood vessel wharves, processing factories and coolstores.
The port area is only minutes away in walking distance from the Timaru City business area and surrounding residential accommodation.
Our training facilities and classrooms are modern, warm and well equipped with resources which are up to date. Timaru Fishing School has a unique training factory which would match modern land based fish processing facilities, where techniques to fillet and pack a range of fish species is available to students.
Most important, we are a committed team of people with collectively many years of experience in the fishing industry and education and training sectors. We are all well qualified in our fields of expertise and have been successful over a number of years, in changing people’s lives by sharing our knowledge and time to encourage our students to achieve their goals and aspirations.
